Invited by artists Helen de Main and Maj Hasager to develop a project for ‘Between Here & Somewhere Else’ an exhibition at Overgaden Institute of Contemporary Art, I made a trip out to visit them in Bethlehem and Ramallah. Visual research made during this visit will feed into residencies at the National Workshops and Cove Park later in the year.
Very excited to be at Cove Park and be surrounded by an fantastic group of artists, writers and designers.
Alan Currall, Ruth Ewan, Maria Fusco, Will Holder, Panel and myself are all here for the next six weeks as part of Cove Park’s Visual arts creative development residency programme.
Further info at Cove Park
This five week residency at the Danish Art Workshops with it’s spacious studio and access to this institutions amazingly well equipped workshops enabled an involved period of production to develop work for my part in a group exhibition ‘Between Here and Somewhere Else’ at Overgaden, Institute of Contemporary Art. A special thank you to Frank Jensen and Ingvar Rønne for their help and advice.
